Nee le 16 Avril 1889 Charlie Chaplin fut la pre-
miere vedette internationale des temps mo-
dernes.Son personnage de Charlot lui acquit
la reconnaissance et l'amour du public.Il fut le
premier artiste du grand ecran a ecrire et
realiser ses films,en plus d'y jouer et com-
poser la trame sonore de plusieurs d'entre eux.

moustache legendaire etaient reconnus ins-

cases,he wrote the music for his movies.Charlie

icon;his too small derby hat,his too large shoes
and his trademark moustache were instantly re-
cognized by audiences from Chicago to China,
